This post is dedicated to my "boss" Anthony Doonan. I made a promise I would spread the word. Here's my attempt. Critique accepted at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. I wanted to do a quick poker update before (what I think is) my final blog of the year (or at least before Christmas!). It's been over a year that I've had a blog and as my frequent readers know; I rarely ever mention anything poker related. I know this is going to sound like a paid advertisement blah blah like I have to do this for the site but if anyone has ever met me I don't think I've told a soul about pokerswat or what it is. To be perfectly honest I've never watched any of my videos on there. I have never watched anyone else's videos and until writing this blog I had no idea who half the other members were. I am lazy and don't like to hear myself talk. So please, take this for what it is. Thanks for reading. That being said I wanted to let everyone know that I have been part of a training website called PokerSwat (www.pokerswat.com) that has many other known players such as Ozzy87, Andy McLEOD, PoorUser, Plattsburgh, myself and many others. I did a set of videos that consisted of 2 heads up and 1 six max several months ago but never mentioned anything to my readers (or anyone for that matter) as I was a little edgy about the product. Don't get me wrong I think they are good but I don't feel I played my A game throughout the series. I recently came out with the second edition of those vidoes and while some of the heads up matches provided me a big challenge, the 10/20 Deep Stack 6 max video is pretty damn good. I like to think that I have a good sense of when I play well and when I don't and I strongly feel that this most recent set of videos provides a high quantitiy of my A game play. If your interested, care to know, or just want to make a donation to someone who doesn't need it, please visit www.pokerswat.com. Thanks, Alec |
